IVA spearheaded the field of cost allocation software with the creation of the modern cost allocation automation process. After gaining federal approval for the new process, IVA has since developed applications used by the entire industry at one point or another. We are constantly seeking new methods of streamlining, easing, and improving the cost allocation process.
CapPLUS, formerly CAP95, is software for calculating cost allocations. In CapPLUS you establish the departments that incur and receive the costs. You then enter the costs and allocation statistics. The costs and allocation statistics can usually be imported from your organization's accounting system. CapPLUS processes the costs, generates the allocations, and prints a variety of detail reports for each department and summary reports for all departments.
